    The village is very quiet and hasn’t really got much to...

    The village is very quiet and hasn’t really got much to commend it. I tried to get dinner but both restaurants were full. The beach is not too far by car so if that’s why you are going it’s a fair place to stay. But there are much nicer French villages!

    It was a good location for us as we wanted to be near the coast but not in a touristy town. Le Porge gave us easy access from Lacanau Ocean to Arès and it's only half an hour from Bordeaux airport. It's a more than decent hotel with attractive outside space and a nice pool.
