Travelled here for a summer vacation with my husband. This Chalet is located in the Sauze. It rests on the crest of a tiny ski slope - so the views from the chalet are epic, majestic and beautiful. The reviews do not exaggerate! Evelyne (the host & owner of the property) is a darling. She is helpful, kind and serves up the best breakfasts. Her homemade jams and compotes are delicious. The fruits she selects from the farmer's market are sweet, plump and juicy. Eating on the roof patio every morning was a sensational way to begin our day. My husband and I did a lot of hiking and outdoor adventure sports - our bodies were so sore each day. Returning to the room with it's good pressured hot water and incredibly orthopedic bed was a plus. We slept so well every night. The location is quiet and tranquil. We highly recommend waking at dawn to walk the hills and surrounding area. Air is crisp and the walk thoroughly enjoyable. We loved it here and often refer to our time at "Chalet La Providence". Will be back! Thank you Evelyne!

Pretty little Villa centrally located in Barcelonnette. The rooms very really beautifully renovated and the open glass shower in the room was amazing! They offered breakfast on lovely small tables in the garden. The staff and the Charme of the place were amazing! Also it is only 3 walking minutes away from the center and the pedestrian zone! There is a free open parking lot next to the hotel (we luckily got the last free space there)

Fantastic stay in the middle of nowhere. Ideal for cyclists, walkers and "explorers ". 2 course meal offered with wine as well as a sumptuous breakfast. Rooms were large, comfy beds and a super bathroom complete with wet room shower. Loved it!

Located in an old priory and re-decorated by the new owners, le Prieuré has a great atmosphere and a lot a of charm. It's friendly and caring staff makes you feel at home. I particularly loved having a mulled wine and playing board games after ski next to the fire in the lounge. Breakfast was excellent as well as diner. Indeed the restaurant is the best we tried in Pra-Loup : with traditional mountain recipes as raclettes, fondues, venison ragout, as well as excellent hamburgers and fries ! Good beds and great views from the bedrooms. Very practical location for skiing as the ski lift is accross the road and ski rentals next door.

    I love this hotel. The original wooden fittings give it a retro touch and a unique atmosphere. It's perfect for winding down and recharging one's batteries. It's situated in front of a large meadow with a view of the mountains behind and has a terrace where you can enjoy an aperitiv before eating a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant, which should not be missed. Elisa and her mother do everything possibile to make your stay comfortable. I always sleep really we'll here as it's so silent. I highly recommend this hotel.

    Comfortable room, fantastic food, they even made me a special salad as I’m vegetarian. Very helpful staff, it’s like staying at a friends house. Great location too. One of the hotels I’d be very happy to come back too especially as the indoor pool is a great way to relax at the end of the day. A

    Wonderful location and very kind staff. My room had gorgeous views and was large and comfortable. The staff offered to let me store my motorcycle in the hotel garage overnight. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and filling. Would stay again!

    I visited this hotel during my bike tour "Route des Grandes Alpes". I could store my bike safely in an extra room. The service and breakfast was good. The shops around are useful for small groceries or snacks.

    It is a ski station hotel so very quiet in the summer. Location perfect for us - close to Barcelonette en route north. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.
