A pleasant and historic town in an excellent location beside the River Seine. Well worth a visit or short stay in this very scenic part of the countryside. Lovely village resting on the Seine.
Lovely village resting on the Seine. It does take time and effort to get to by train and bus. If you are interested in history the Chateau Gaillard is worth the trip. It is also a good idea to do your homework before coming and to know the train and bus timetables. Super host, very friendly and helpful. On the banks of the Seine, very close to Giverny. Our room Margot, had views of the river and the ruins of the castle built by Richard the Lionheart.
