This hotel and village is a perfect, cosy and welcoming place to be. We immediately felt at home and the staff are genuinely friendly. It’s nice to deviate from the big towns and experience local hospitality and a hotel with gorgeous character. Monday evening and the hotel restaurant is an intimate outdoor area with lights strung above. Dinner was superb (this is a family run hotel) and being Monday evening we thought it may be quiet. Every table booked and hotel busy. The friendliest staff and everyone delighted to be there. Our room is air conditioned (welcome after a hot day) and cosy, historic, immaculately clean and cared for. Free parking in the forecourt right by the entrance. Value for money is exceptional.
