Inside was spotless and had everything you could need, we really enjoy the relaxing location it was very quiet and peaceful. A nice treat was the air conditioning which you need in a mobile home in France. Also a shout out to Frank who met us at the gates on day 1 and at the mobile home on leaving day, a great guy who saved the day when we left a bag behind!! We hired bikes from the on site location which was very convenient and the cycle path out the back of the campsite goes to La Palmyre or the lighthouse and beach. The mobile home was well equipped and had a great veranda and lots of outdoor seating in the shade. Great showers and plenty of hot water ( apart from when gas ran out!)There was air-conditioning but only in the lounge area. We visited Luna Parc, the beach, Royan Market, Le Palmyre Zoo, and La Citadelle on Ile de Oleron. We had a great time everywhere, and the value for money was exceptional with not a single parking charge at any of these attractions.
