Unfortunately when we arrived at this walled Chateau the gates were closed and the doorbell was broken. We were unable to obtain access even though we tried for over an hour. The telephone number had a message in French which we could not understand and we were unable to gain any response to our emails. Only later in the evening were we able to establish contact after we had made other arrangements. They were apologetic and arranged a refund. From the outside through the railings and gate it looked like a very nice place, I wish we had been able to stay there.Guest review byPeterJersey

Turned out to be a very nice hotel with a friendly welcome. We were about an hour early, but the room was ready. Due to the age of the property the room was quite small, but very well presented and comfortable. This is probably the only reason it hasn’t got more stars. The restaurant was excellent, very busy and good value for money. The breakfast was also good and also very good value. All the staff were very helpful.
