Super comfortable bed, excellent shower room, great that I could park my motorbike in the 'drive' behind a large metal gate. Typical continental breakfast that was lovely. Great countryside location with super views and such a peaceful location. Overall I did like it a lot

    It's a little rural French town near the Belgian border.

    It's a little rural French town near the Belgian border. Either that tells you everything or that tells you nothing! If the latter, then I suspect it's probably not for you, but hey, what do I know? There's no nightlife to my knowledge, and precious little daylife. That was perfect for us :-) Lots of forests and lakes and cycle routes and not much traffic. But for the historically minded, there's a genuine antique (1920s?) petrol pump in the middle of town (although it's no longer in service).

    The hotel is set in a quiet, rural location. The room was really good with a separate sitting room with sofa, a separate bedroom and a shower room. The shower was really good and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good with plenty of choice. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

    The hotel is an impressive converted monastry and quite quirky. The location is very quiet with ample parking. Staff were helpful and breakfast was fine.
