    We stayed Limoges specifically as a location to visit the Matyrs village at Oradour-sur-Glane. A moving place to visit I'd recommend to anyone with an interest in history and the brutality and hatred of the Nazi regime.

    The old town was charming and fun to wander around in.

    The old town was charming and fun to wander around in. We had a wonderful meal in one the small plazas. Lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy and it was nice to be surrounded by locals rather than tourists - creates a great atmosphere.

    It can be a little hard to get your bearings in Limoges as...

    It can be a little hard to get your bearings in Limoges as the city is not flat and everything can feel a little scattered about (the city hall is miles away from the cathedral and the porcelain museum is yet again miles away from both). However, don't let that put you off visiting both the fine arts museum next to the cathedral as well as the porcelain museum (Musee Adrien Dubouche). The latter was extended and refurbished just a couple of years ago and the result is amazing with great technical insight into making pottery in general , the history of the local industry and a vast collection spanning almost every conceivable example. Well worth seeing.

    Nice walking in the historic inner town, some very interesting places to visit such as the museum of ceramics. We only stayed one full day which is clearly insufficient to get a decent overview of the city.

    Great city to visit, even in mid-winter, with wonderful...

    Great city to visit, even in mid-winter, with wonderful museums and cathedral, a spectacular Art Deco station and an excellent central food market. A compact centre with lots of bars and restaurants, and fascinating Christmas lights (each street in the centre has its own different lights). I'll be back! Perhaps time your visit for days other than Sunday and Monday, though, as such a lot is closed on those days.

    Akexandr he was sooo kind! We stranded with our car in the middle of the night and although it was extremely busy due to the tour the France he helped us with everything … managed a room .. brought us a coffee exactly what you need at such a time .. the bed was soo comfortable the room was clean and very quite … perfect !!! It was near the railway station where we could hire a car and near the city to eat something

    It was a real surprise to find at last a low-cost hotel that is comfortable, nestled in the middle of flowering bushes and trees and extremely clean. The staff is also very nice, making breakfast a lovely start of the day. Definitely a place I will come back to when I travel through France -this is a perfect stop-over on my way to the South of France. It is also well located close to motorway and restaurants.

    Very welcoming, good clean rooms, very helpful reception, a lot of wide parking spaces, fantastic restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The maitre de was brilliant. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as a pit stop to break up the journey through France.
