Small cozy Hotel-Restaurant, convenient pit-stop on the way back from the South, 12 minutes from highway. Excellent restaurant,we had the Menu Bressane with the Bresse chicken, of course. Smaller portion than what we are used to in the region, but good quality. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Air-conditioning worked well.Breakfast consisted of fresh croissants and baguettes with home- made confiture, some ham and cheese.

Quiet, very clean, spacious, stylish, comfortable studio in a lovely setting. Nice bathroom with good shower. And the toilet was inside the bathroom (many places that we stayed in France had toilet in a different room). Our host was helpful & informative.

It was very comfortable. Due to the extreme heat it was difficult to keep it cool although we had a fan in the bedroom. You couldn’t sit on the balcony due to the heat. The little courtyard was very nice although it could be made much prettier

    Was just a short trip away.

    Was just a short trip away. We didn’t have much time to look at the shops or museums in the area, but will be back to find out more. Had our evening meal at the Moulin de Bourgchâteau. Saturday lunch was taken with friends at Auberge de L’Europe, unfortunately arrived too late to sample the regional speciality, Bresse chicken, as it was sold out along with the Guinea fowl!!!

    The Italian owner and his wife are very friendly. The hotel looks lovely and the river running past is delightful. The sound of frogs fills the air, the small managerie is nice with pigmy goats, horses, swans and geese walking around the field. early in the morning I saw a coypu walking along the river bank. The restaurant outside on the veranda was lovely and the food very good.
