Everything was as to be expected from this type of hotel, however what was outstanding was the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food - the dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. Travelling with a motorcycle, the area also felt safe enough and I could see my bike on the private parking from my window.

Wonderful riverside location, just off the motorway. Super cute accommodation, impeccably clean everywhere, comfy bed and overall accommodation. Well equipped with everything you might need. Absolutely lovely host, Liya and her gorgeous daughter, Agathe. Made us (and our dogs!) feel so welcome.

Stunning location on an oxbow lake of the River Saone, L’Ile Chaumette has been beautifully renovated- the restaurant and rooms look superb. Great food both for the evening meal and the continental breakfast. Celine was a very welcoming host - we would definitely stay again.

Great hotel next to the train station in Chalon-sur-Saone with private parking. Warm welcome at reception. Our room on 2nd floor was spacious with a modern bathroom. Very quiet. We enjoyed the self-guided tour around Chalon (map available at the tourist office on the riverside). Spa is wonderful.

Very friendly staff. Good secure place to lock up our bicycles. Breakfast was one of the more expensive hotel breakfasts we had but was excellent. Pizza place across the street 'Cozy Pizza' is worth the visit.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The spa is amazing (wonderful massages!) and the restaurant has a very good menu. Breakfast is simple but of high quality. The room was extremely quiet and comfortable. We rented electric bikes and had a lovely ride around the vineyards.We will definitely come back and would highly recommend this hotel.

    Local hotel close, but not to close to the motorway as we were having a stayover on the road. The rooms were not big, but fine and what can be expected for the price. The beds were good and it was very quiet. We loved the dinner and the breakfast in the restaurant!

    Very good spot to spend the night while travelling. Easy access from the highway. The hotel is quite and has a large parking lot. The staff is very friendly. The breakfasts are really good and home made.
