    The house is a beautifully restored historic cottage in a quiet impasse (cul de sac) about a hundred yards from the main square in Malestroit. It is in a perfect location for the town and it's probably the best equipped and most comfortable self catering property we have been to. One piece of advice to renters, who will probably be using a car. You have to park two or three minutes walk away; Floriane the owner suggests where but it's worth allowing a little time to sus out the parking places when you arrive in the town.

    It was a great stay in Malestroit. The accommodation is centrally located and you can reach the idyllic old town on foot in about 10 minutes. The accommodation is very clean, modern and lovingly maintained. You feel wonderfully welcome. The breakfast is rich and lovingly prepared. There is homemade jam, which is especially good. A heated swimming pool completes the stay. The garden is flowery and beautiful. From there you can explore a lot of historical places. Thank you it was very great!

    Marie-Hélène was so welcoming and warm and made us feel right at home. Our room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The heated towel rail was useful given that we were cycling through Malestroit and needed to dry kit after being caught in rain. The property was also perfectly kitted out for storing our bicycles securely, something that was greatly appreciated! Breakfast was also delicious - featuring the host’s home made bread, cake and jams.

    We visited the Miraflores while on a cycling holiday. I enjoyed it mainly because of the attentiveness of the owner. The home baked bread and Breton cake for breakfast were amazing. The room and facilities were excellent. Swimming in the pool was an excellent way to relax after a long cycle. Malestroit is a lovely medieval town. We ate in a local restaurant and heard choral music in the church. A fantastic end to a wonderful day.
