    Horrific Experience – Do Not Stay Here This was hands down one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. When we arrived at the apartment, we were shocked to find it in a filthy state — dirty floors, grime everywhere, and unwashed bedding literally rolled up and left out. It was completely unacceptable. I immediately contacted the host, and although a cleaner was eventually sent, we were forced to wait outside while the mess was dealt with. No guest should ever walk into such conditions. Unfortunately, the nightmare didn’t end there. We soon discovered there was no hot water for the entire duration of our three-night stay. For anyone, this is disgraceful — but for us, it was especially distressing as my young son suffers from severe hay fever. Washing off pollen is crucial for his health, and being unable to shower caused him significant discomfort and symptoms. We even tried to fill the bath with the kettle— only to find there was no bath plug. We were literally left without any way to properly wash for the entire trip. This completely ruined our much-anticipated Disneyland Paris holiday. When I contacted the host to explain how serious the situation was, they offered a partial refund — only for the first night, which was significantly cheaper than the others. This amounted to just 25% of the total cost. With support from Booking.com, I explained this wasn’t reasonable — only to be accused by the host of “blackmail” for simply trying to get fair compensation for a ruined stay. That accusation was both insulting and completely uncalled for. The apartment was unfit for guests, and the host’s dismissive and rude behaviour only made things worse. I urge anyone thinking of booking here to avoid it at all costs. Save your money, protect your holiday, and stay away.
