    Such a superb hotel. Incredible location close to everything but so quiet and calm! Beautiful rooms, ours had a balcony to the countryside with a view of the ponies. The hotel itself is beautiful - the pool is a great size with comfortable sun loungers, and the restaurant area at golden hour is really something else. The food was really well cooked and a nice variety, we had dinner here 4 our of 5 nights. The staff was very nice and attentive!

    We have previously around 30 years ago, still the same wonderful setting in the Dordogne countryside. The hotel is still exactly how we remembered, however there is still a problem with the water system. It was necessary to run the hot water for at least 5 minutes for it to run hot. A minor issue, but an awful lot of water wasted at a cost to the hotel.

    Our room was lovely. we did not have a terrace, but it was still lovely. The chef is amazing, every meal was fabulous. We ate at the hotel every night (seven) as it was so good. The staff were all delightful, polite and helpful.
