The location of this hotel was perfect for the purpose of our trip. We wanted to be a walking distance to the location ( MEDECIN SANS FRONTIERS) we went to every day , and we were. Wonderful and helpful staff, decent breakfast, very good value for the money. I do recommend it.

Our host Jessica was amazingly helpful in allocating rooms for a large party and for fitting us in at breakfast for an early start. She was also helpful in many small ways, such as opening check in at a different time to accommodate us all, helping us to get taxis etc, The communication before we arrived and when we arrived was excellent. The location was very convenient for the No 1 bus to/from the airport and into Merignac and Bordeaux.

    For my situation, I needed car park and pets allowed, I wanted to go to the ocean which I did one day and it was amazing - I was too hot and tired to go another day due to no AC in room, outside temp 34 degrees. The area was nice, but I prefer countryside , for my requirements and budget there were no hotels in the countryside for the dates I needed - it all depends on peoples' individual circumstances, for some it is just one night stop over for the airport , I had several requirements , and would have liked another day at the sea. The immediate grounds of the hotel were nice with trees and grass area I could take my dog there first thing in morning and at night.

    The BandB was centrally situated from the Chateaux area of Medoc. Only an hour's drive to the picturesque areas of Arcachon, cap Ferret and Dune du Pilat and just 12 minutes to downtown Bordeaux. We drove to areas an hour or more away and used Uber to and from downtown Bordeaux. We really enjoyed the wonderful Italian food from Palatino. We enjoyed a tour to the quaint town of Saint Emelion as well as Chateaux Tour Baldoz. Using the very informative Tourist Office we took an informative boat tour on the Garonne river as well as a mini train ride around the city. The Cite du Vin was so informative.

    I stayed over in Mérignac because of early flight out.

    I stayed over in Mérignac because of early flight out. I wish I could stay longer. Definitely should explore the area. The people are super friendly and helpful. Surprisingly clean around the airport area and smoke addicts don't enjoy more comforts than non-smokers. I felt an effort is made that non-smokers are not exposed to second hand smoking as it usually is the case. Thank you

    A superb modern hotel finished to the highest standard, the staff were all very helpful and kind. The beds and pillows are so comfy and we plan to return as we enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location for the airport and they offer a free shuttle service but it stops at 15:00 but also ideal for exploring Bordeaux as you can get the tram from right outside the arrivals lounge of the airport. Drinks and food both very expensive, chef has delusions of grandeur, his menu and the way it was written put us of eating there, all foams and weird concoctions!

    Take time to explore the out of the way neighbourhoods in Bordeaux. There is lots to see. Say Bonjour and Merci to everyone. They do. LRT service is excellent. Go to Meriadeck Mall for groceries and Galeries Lafayette on Rue Saint Catherine. Rue Saint Catherine is a pedestrian walkway on the A line LRT. Go down to the riverfront. Drink the wine. Make an effort to speak French. Merignac is a suburb of Bordeaux. My comments apply to Bordeaux.

    The rooms are small but have everything you need. They are excellent value for money. The tram stops 20 meters from the hotel and is 5 minutes from the airport or an interesting 25 minute ride to the centre of Bordeaux. The sister hotel next door has a bar and good restaurant and there are shops and restaurants near by. The breakfast is simple but good.

    A very handy place to stay when travelling via Bordeaux airport. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, and timed to allow for early flights. They also do dinner, which is very convenient. Excellent location next to the tram line to the airport. Staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you!

    We stayed when we arrived at Bordeaux airport (10pm arrived) before heading off in the morning - so a simple overnighter. Just one stop on tram or a 13 min walk. Room are small but knew that but very clean, beds very comfortable and just what needed
