    We ate in the hotel restaurant, recommended. We walked a short way to the lake with the dogs which was very pleasant, The village church was very interesting construction. We did not go to the nearby resort area with beach and watersports but have been previously. The lake path is perfect for walking or cycling

    This is a third time in Mesnil - Saint-Pere, but our 1st...

    This is a third time in Mesnil - Saint-Pere, but our 1st time at this hotel & probably our last there are better available. We stay here on our way back from the Italian Alps usually at the end of March or early April, just as spring is starting. The lake is quite stunning and on a sunny warm spring day it really is a great place to be despite the fact that most things are closed. There is a good brasseries called the belvedere which is great , good food and great view over the lake.

    Room comfortable and reasonably equipped overall for a short stay. Dinner was excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The weather meant we made less use of the walks around the lake than we had wanted to, but the location is perfect for that, and we were welcomed with our two dogs.

    Don’t know! Contrary to confirmation we could bring a dog, refused access and with help of the Hotel, had to find another hotel in the village. Not appreciated after a 5 hour gruelling drive from Switzerland!
