Located near the borders of France, Germany and Luxemburg, the French city of Metz is the capital of the Lorraine region in the Moselle department. This destination has stunning architecture, as well as rich history and culture.

The Cathedral was absolutely stunning and so was the Museum cour d’Or - extremely impressive not only for its collection of varied artefacts but it was so well laid out with explanatory information in multiple languages, including English - and it was free! I only stayed for one night while travelling to another place, so I didn't spend long in the city but it really impressed me and I wish I had more time to explore it. Metz was amazing! The Christmas markets were fantastic and the city itself is gorgeous! It is just the right size to get a city feeling, but not too large to be overwhelming! He keeps in contact with you the whole time you book. He meets you at the property to welcome you, tells you a little about the cathedral,market etc. He even recommended a bike trip route for us. The rooms and bathroom are really spacious and very clean. Good shower. Great location just a few minutes walk to the cathedral and centre.
