Marie-Jean and Daniel were fabulous hosts. our room was absolutely gorgeous and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and Daniel gave us a wonderful tour of the vineyard and a very generous portion tasting session. We felt thoroughly spoilt by Marie-Jean and Daniel and would recommend a visit at Domaine du Fief aux Dames.

Great breakfast, served in the hotel bar. Great service. We really enjoyed the evenings entertainment which took place on the terrace, great food and music. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The setting of the river and waterfall added to the delights of the evening.

Friendly welcome, nice ambience in the bar/restaurant area, great value for money evening meal and room price. Convenient for the main road between Cholet and Nantes. Courtesy tray with kettle and drinks in the room - unlike the much more expensive Ibis hotel the previous night!

    The vision of me and my husband drinking wine and eating...

    The vision of me and my husband drinking wine and eating olives as we chilled in the garden of the apartment were short lived. The garden was over grown and there was a lack of any leisure seating. This was the theme through out. The whole apartment lacked cleanliness and upkeep. It’s a great shame as the area in which the apartment is situated is beautiful. There is definitely a need for a car as I didn’t see any buses in the area during our stay and we failed to get a Uber to collect us. Some lovely restaurants within driving distance in Gorges that are worth a visit.
