    Best place in Via Lattea for ski beginners, plenty of short...

    Best place in Via Lattea for ski beginners, plenty of short and long green pistes. Great ski school instructors. But not very charming and lack of entertainment options for adults and kids. Restaurants are just ok. No real food options after 3pm, bad for skiers especially those doing ski lessons at lunchtime. Ice skating venue was not operating which is bad during ski season. Great balneo and spa.

    Wonderful ski resort, plenty of green and blue runs for beginners, with a great ski school. For the more advanced plenty of red and black runs with the choice to ski over to Italy. The village is pretty with plenty of eateries. There’s also a great pool and spa in the village.

    Monginevro, in my opinion, has 2 faces: winter and summer...

    Monginevro, in my opinion, has 2 faces: winter and summer seasons. I was never here during winter, but I believe that is the heart of the tourism season there... Regarding summer activities, there are nice trails and the "Monty" luge, a must for kids and not only. In the mean time, I believe there is space for improvement: in fact there are many indications for bike tours, etc, but not many info for walk excursions... Trails are not well indicated (if they are indicated) not only during the paths, but not even, for instance, at the end of the lifts. Moreover, in my case at least, there is no number to identify a trail of there is a number but with no info about what this number codes for. Other than that, the surrounding areas are very nice even if, given the height (1850m), the tree line is very narrow.

    In the summer, enjoy cool weather and immerse yourself in nature with hiking and cable car rides amidst the majestic Alps. Delight in the comfortable mountain activities, with mostly Italian cuisine that's reasonably priced.

    Montgenevre is well placed at the French end of the Milky Way ski area, so you can ski over into Italy on the extended lift pass. Lots of areas to explore. Long transfer from Geneva - flight to Turin preferable.

    Great ski town for beginners through to advanced.

    Great ski town for beginners through to advanced. My 17 year old daughter noted the lack of apres ski for her age group, and I noted the lack of open fires to warm feet at when coming off the slopes. We also found it a bit difficult to find bars/restaurants on the slopes.

    Loved the breakfast, really well catered for all tastes, took packed lunch so we didn’t need to go back during the day, this was available in breakfast dining room and was great to have this service. Jeremy was really helpful, he works very hard all day keeping the guests happy and catered for. He was very friendly and recommended local ski hire where we got a very favourable rate. Many thanks. Hotel had a boot room so we didn’t have to pay for a locker.

    The breakfast at the hotel was good value, with plenty of choice in addition to croissants there were cheese, ham, brioche, cereal and home made apple cake, which was lovely, range of juices and hot drinks plus some fresh fruit. Beds were comfortable and good storage space. The ski locker in the basement with door out into the street was really practical and appreciated. The lady owner was always friendly, chatty and helpful.

    Chalet Saint Bernard is well situated in Montgenèvre, and all the ski resorts are easily reachable by foot. Our room was large enough, well organized and quiet. The staff at the reception was young and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent (delicious pain écureuil) and coffee and tea are available all day! We easily find a place to park the car nearby

    The accommodation was good. The location to ski was good. the underground car park was an advantage (we chose to store our hire skis in the car rather than the hotel lockers which avoided congestion and made the access to equipment for the ski holiday simpler
