We stayed 5 nights and we wished we stayed longer in this cosy and beautiful guest house. The location is perfect to explore Mont Saint Michel and Saint-Malo. We loved the hospitality of Celeste and Patrick who made sure we didn’t miss anything and we felt like at home. The abundant breakfast and dinner personally prepared by Celeste could satisfy every taste (with particular attention to the kids). It was nice to cool off in the pool after a long day of discovering the region and to chat at dinner with the hosts and the other guests. We absolutely recommend la Gerbaudiere Chambres d’hôtes to everyone who is looking for hospitality, comfort and conviviality.

Our hosts Jean & Thie were so attentive and caring, we felt as if we’d made some real friends.    The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts, largely produced from the garden, were so beautifully laid out, each morning was a real pleasure.    Situated on a large property on the outskirts of Mortain, we felt completely at ease and private.” Highly recommended.

This apartment is incredible. Simon and Mari are the best hosts, you can see they really care and went to great lengths to make the place as welcoming as possible. Nice decor, spotlessly clean, with a huge TV and super comfy couch. We had planned to eat out but it was so nice that we decided to stay in!

Bunnys, ducks, cows, chickens, Lustig, the huge dog. The kitchenware was phenomenal quality. Location - nature, walks, farm animals. The hosts are very nice and communicative, we managed to chat even without a common language. Complimentary apple juice and blackberry jam. Proper cotton bedding. No plastic sheets.

    We have visited Mortain on many occasions and this trip...

    We have visited Mortain on many occasions and this trip included us being able to witness the Tour de France - which was excellent. The area around Mortain is lovely and the Cascades and the Petite Chapel are well worth visiting.

    We were attending a family Wedding in Mortain so were not really looking for tourist type holiday. We have been to Mortain for several years and it has really grown on us. Just across the road from the hotel is a very good bakery and this time we found a Kebab shop open on Sunday evening when many other places are closed. As we have an electric car we were delighted to find a charging point. Other members of our family stayed in a large Gite which was charming and we spent quite a bit of time. The small Saturday food market was very good too. We liked having Carrefour nearby.

    very dated and worn. No drink or food available on Friday evening ( that was the reason I booked the hotel as wanted to have a drink and meal that evening). We were told that the food will be served on Saturday.

    Friendly staff. Hotel easy to find. We were on a cycling holiday. Large and secure place for our bikes with plugs available for recharging our bike batteries.
