We came to Najac 9 years ago and always said we would return. Peaceful mediaeval village. Lots of history. Friendly people.Must visit the castle. We stayed In Oustel du Barry. Great hotel. We had a great view of the town's summer fireworks display from our balcony! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The top floor bedroom especially was great. Our host was super friendly and helpful in telling us about the town, he's also the caretaker of the fortress so is very knowledgeable about that. The staff are very competent and welcoming. The restaurant is very good value and the swimming pool is a massive bonus.
