This area is very calm and quiet, 100% safe. Outside of Paris, but you can get to the city centre in 30-40 mins by public transportation (RER A/E). We booked for a concert at La Defense Arena so it was the most convenient choice for us, literally just crossed the street and arrived to the Arena. The room was clean and spacious. Drinking water was provided on each floor. At the Club, you could get coffee, hot choco, snacks (even gluten free cookie!) for free 24/7.

All the facilities are excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and the surroundings were quiet. The train station is just a 7–10 minute walk away, which I think is very convenient, especially for young travelers. Overall, it was the best location for our stay and a perfect base for exploring Paris.

Me and my friends stayed for one night, we had to attend a concert at the Defense Arena and we chose this hotel because it’s within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff very polite. Would 100% recommend!

    We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, primarily because of...

    We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, primarily because of its proximity to la Défense arena, where we were attending a concert. The location was ideal being about 15 minutes easy walk from the venue. The area itself was heavily populated by students and a lot of the eateries were geared towards this clientele. However, we ate in a close by bistro called the marquerite on both nights of our stay and it was good. Gare du nord Paris is very accessible from the nearby train station with just one transfer. The same goes for Charles de gaule airport.

    Disgusting breakfast, small room, booked for 4 and were only for 3 beds, one double and one single, had to sleep with my little one and hubby in the same bed. And the cleaners had stolen me a leather jacket,that's horrible. Bad service.

    An overlooked corner of Paris, a business district with a lot of advantages for staying there. Very quiet in August when everybody is in the summer holiday, free street parking for the hole August. Just a RER station or two away from City centre. New modern architecture, very good views of Paris from La Defence.

    The thing that I most liked about nanterre was it had easy access to the metro rail link, once on the metro and you could be anywhere in paris, it was quiet in the street at night no load music or rowdy crowds of drunks being turned out, the street was clean, there's some pizza restaurants that I used, but to be fair the french was also on their holidays so pretty much dead as far as entertainment was concerned, there's a peoples market in the street almost every day if you like that sort of thing, but when I was there it was very quiet, which I and my wife just love, that's it for nanterre

    Very good location; just go through the beautiful, well-lit park to get to the closest Metro. There was a Supermarket by the Metro too. For me who was going to a concert at Paris la Defense it was walking distance, so that was good. The bed was comfy, not too soft. Checkout at any time around the clock for guests conveniance. My room was very quiet and calm. Easy to adjust heat and air condition. A water boiler, cups and tea and Coffee were put out, along with sugar and two small packs of milk.

    Friendly staff, good location and functional rooms. The restaurant was good (with lovely staff) but is not open on Sundays. Rooms were a little hot despite air con. Food in Le Club was really good, but choice in drinks other than wine could have been better (we suspect it was busier than usual on Sundays due to the marathon!) Super easy to get into town, but we would walk to Nanterre-la-Folie rather than La Défense as the entrance is hard to find! Absolutely worth the money.

    The iPad controls and the room itself was nice. Location of the hotel and the staff were also very good. Staff are happy to help and speak both french and english. Room also had a safe which was nice! A great place to stay for access to paris la defense arena and lots of great places to shop around the area too. There is a small walk to the train station (5/10 minutes) but its a big station with good connections.

    Location was excellent and surprisingly quiet considering we were in the city. We were there for a concert at the La Defense arena and it was perfect for walking within 15 minutes and also having the ability for the car to be parked securely overnight.
