gorgeous boutique hotel only 10mins walk from the old town and 5mins from the station. Super convenient! Everything was clean and the room and bed were comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a great express breakfast for 5EUR. highly recommend this hotel and would 100% stay here again!

This hotel is perfection, from greeting as the taxi pulled up outside, to Aziz checking us in, the room was magnificent as was dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. I will definitely return. I can not recommend this property highly enough.

We had a great week staying at L’Abeille! I liked best the attention to detail. For example, on our last morning in Nice, it rained heavily. I was sure I’d be soaked by the time I got back from the neighbourhood boulangerie, where we had a habit of getting our croissants and baguettes. What a relief to find umbrellas in the lobby by the door! The room itself was spacious, clean and nicely decorated, including a window seat overlooking rue Bonaparte. The kitchen was tidy and well fitted out with everything needed to enjoy a glass of wine, make a meal, or lay out a leisurely breakfast for our family of four. The beds were comfortable, and we adults particularly enjoyed our sunny balcony. Although there is no reception downstairs, the manager and other staff responded to requests by email immediately and we felt well looked after. Location was better than we imagined! Walking distance everywhere and very near trams and buses, either at Port Lympia (bus to Monaco) or Garibaldi Square. Best of all was the neighbourhood full or shops and restaurants, as well as the Old Town only a 10-minute walk away.

    Some people will tell you that the neighboring cities -- Eze...

    Some people will tell you that the neighboring cities -- Eze, Ville Franche, Menton, are better to use as your main hub, but there is not much else to do once you've looked at all the beautiful scenery there. Nice, on the other hand, was full of night life after a long day spent elsewhere and had so much to do as you walked along the Avenue des Anglais. We could go "home" after visiting the other villages, rest up, then go out for a night cap! Getting around was easy -- walk! -- or take the tram, which took you every direction in the city. We treated ourselves to a beautiful seaside lunch at Nissachic, right on the "boardwalk." Highly recommend getting the Pass Sud d'Azur for travelling around. Vieux Nice, where we stayed, was so full of charm and character, with its narrow, winding streets and cafes everywhere! We even ended our trip on the last day at the Irish bar "The Snug," which had open mic night and was just wonderfully fun!

    Beautiful city, very east to take day-trips to nearby cities along the French Riviera. The beach is rocky so make sure to bring sea shoes. Other than that the whole city is gorgeous and filled with great bars and restaurants. A lot of people speak english well so if you can’t speak French it’s no big deal. 3-4 days is enough time to get a good feel of the city.

    Nice is beautiful, and the beaches (pebbles) are amazing. Beach shoes are recommended for walking and swimming. The Old Town is amazing and the promenade is breathtaking. You can walk everywhere. You can also visit Monaco or Cannes from Main Central Station.

    Nice is very busy in September. Great restaurants and bars. The main beach can be treacherous unless you wear footwear. Exploring by foot like any major city can be tiring. Consider buying a tram pass for a few days cheap and easy to use. Always Validate your pass on the tram when you start a trip. Separately a return tram pass from airport to city costs €10 remember to keep it for your return journey to the airport

    Used it as a central point for day-trips throughout the riviera ( and wondered into Italy for a day ). As far as the city itself there is not much to do beyond hitting all the main attractions within 36 hours.

    Very clean great street coffee culture sit outside for coffee and Meals, people were friendly and approachable. prices not too bad for food and coffee just a bit dearer than home not much. you can suss out cheaper places as you explore, close to Monaco, Cannes and Antibes for day trips fantastic locations all.

    The hotel is well-positioned and close to most amenities! The staff was friendly and eager to help and give suggestions when asked. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. When we requested a larger room, as we were a family of three, they did not hesitate to give us another room at no extra charge. Make sure to check out the coffee shop next to the hotel! It, by far, has some of the best coffee I’ve tasted in France! And the staff are excellent! Thank you for the lovely stay!

    Super little hotel close to Nice train station. I only stayed for 1 night before flight home but had very comfortable room, spotlessly clean, with great bed and lovely big shower. Continental breakfast was perfect. Hotel is situated close to lots of amenities and an easy walk into central Nice, old town and beach. Pleasant, helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely stay again if back in Nice!

    If you need a hotel in Nice just to spend a couple of nights, and all day you will walk around the city or be on the beach - I think this is a great option for your money. The hotel is located in the city center, in a fairly quiet place and not very far from the train station. We got from the train station to the hotel with suitcases in about 10 minutes without calling a taxi.
