Down a long tree lined drive you come to a beautiful French family country house hotel set in stunning grounds. Reception is in a pleasant welcoming area, with warm vibes. The dining room has crisp white tablecloths, sparking glasses and cutlery. It oozes ambiance, with sophisticated furnishings. The candle lit bar is equally charming and alluring. The secluded terrace is a perfect size for an intimate dinner, breakfast or coffee. A pool with character, it is surrounded by a small stone wall with contemporary and traditional French plants. There are many different garden areas to sit and relax. Our room was exceptional - a sitting area with a white leather sofa, 2 tv, a fridge, mini bar coffee/tea facilities etc. Plenty of wardrobe space. An extremely large comfy bed, an amazing bathroom (we wanted to take it home) a huge private terrace overlooking olive trees and a second pool. Everything in this hotel is exquisite and of high quality, we didn’t see anything that needed to be repaired, updated or refurbished. The decor is beautiful and tasteful. The food is without doubt delicious. Nancy Bourguignon, the chef, has a michelin star and her finesse is reflected in the amazing breakfasts, canapés, petit four and delectable, mouth-watering, stunning dinners. You have to eat here to appreciate just how good it is. Customer Service exceeded all our expectations. The staff were helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to meet our needs. An easy and pretty walk of 0.75 miles (10 mins) to the village of Maussane-les-Alpilles where there are plenty of bars restaurants and shops all with a great French atmosphere Arles 0.30 mins drive Avignon 0.45 mins drive St Remy de Provence 10 mins drive The beautiful Les Baux des Provence 5 mins drive Aix en Provence 0.40 mins drive

We loved this place! The pool is outstanding, we had a little patio/garden area, rooms are big enough, bathroom as well. The toilet was a bit small though, but it was not disturbing. Very comfortable beds. Small but well equipped kitchen. The whole place is big, with many guests, but is was absolutely not disturbing, we really felt we have a very private and separate place. Great place also to discover the area, main sights in Provence are 1 hour away. Village was lovely, 15 min walk to the local shop (Spar) and the boulangerie. Recommended!

Our stay at Le Jardin du Castillon was a truly enchanting experience. The location, nestled in the Provence, offered a breathtaking view of nature's splendour, perfect path for morning jogging around. We particularly enjoyed the delightful company of Bonnie, the friendly dog, who made our stay feel even more like a home away from home.     We had a beautiful stay at JK Moulin and would return again and try another room! It was lovely from beginning to end and we couldn't be happier with the location. I highly recommend the property and the hosts. There was easy parking right there, and a lovely breakfast each morning. With so much nearby to explore you could easily stay an entire week or more.

    We loved our stay at this charming and unique property. It’s set right in the picturesque Alpilles with the most wonderful friendly hosts and lots of horses! What could be better? The breakfasts were amazing and the location is right near many other sites and villages to visit. The property is large and very private with many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. The house is within walking distance to the tiny village of Paradou and a first rate Bistrot! Perfection in Provence!

    Le Paradou is a charming small commune of the Parc Regional...

    Le Paradou is a charming small commune of the Parc Regional Des Alpilles, one of circa 18 small villages/towns within the Parc area. Like other nearby villages, it has one main commercial street and smaller "chemins" branching out from it towards olive groves and vineyards. It serves as an excellent location between all communes of the Parc, and with a rented car, you can tour all nearby roman ruins, castles, museums, wine chateaux, and olive oil domaines. All 18 towns are within 30 minutes at most from Le Paradou. For food lovers, the area has a handful of Michelin Guide restaurants not to be missed.

    I rarely write reviews but that’s a special case! This is a fantastic villa managed by a lovely couple. We felt like being at home with best friends. We got the best advice on surroundings, restaurants and interesting places to visit from Jean. Food is delicious! Karine makes the best pasta and curry sandwiches that I ever tasted! Breakfasts are beautifully decorated and delicious! I can go on forever - the equipment of the villa, pool, gym - everything is top notch!

    This private, secure house was exceptionally clean and very well maintained! The air conditioning worked very well and the fridge was a good size! Chantal and Christian were very friendly and helpful. Paradou is a beautiful village and perfectly positioned to visit a large number of sites and attractions throughout Provence. The local Boulangerie had some amazing local breads. You will enjoy a stay here!

    This is one of the loveliest places I have stayed for a long time. Mathilde is a wonderful hostess, and her breakfast is superbe. It’s a gorgeous old building which has been renovated with style and elegance. The icing on the cake is that it’s next door to the Bistro de Paradou, one of my favorite restaurants.
