We just walking the streets of Paris and the gardens and eating at the cafes. Because Paris is so popular, the Louvre and the Palace at Versailles can be so crowded so be prepared. Cathedral of Notre Dam had a line but it moved along quickly and we had the bonus of attending a mass at noon. It is an amazing cathedral not to be missed. Don't miss a boat ride on the Seine and I prefer evening when the lights are spectacular on all the buildings, bridges and the lights on the Eiffel Tower twinkle on the hour. So much to see in Paris. To live in a convenient place, there are subway and bus options. But there may be strikes at any time. You must go to the Louvre, which is easier to visit than the museums in London, with a lot of displays and stairs that require climbing. You must book a meal, otherwise you may not have a seat. Internet celebrity stores recommend queuing early. Shopping paradise, tax refund friendly.
