    Small village.

    Small village. Pretty timber framed houses typical of the area. Halle de Piney in the square reputed to be the largest all timber structures of its kind. Fairly busy road running through. Small cafe / bar / general store in main road, Hotel with restaurant in the main square good overnight stop.

    This is a beautiful, traditional old hotel set slightly off the beaten track. The facilities were excellent, the room large and spotlessly clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, with a good choice of food and wine(dinner only) and cakes (breakfast). We were provided with secure parking for our motorcycles free of charge.

    Large room with good facilities, ample storage space for luggage, clothes etc. Large bathroom. but no proper shower (see below). On a cycling holiday and hotel provided secure cycle storage.

    A precious old building right in the middle of the village of Piney with a good restaurant. The village has a bar/tabac if you fancy a different drink and a good boulangerie.
