We had the pleasure of staying at Rêve de Clarté Bed & Breakfast during the beginning of January 2025, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by our landlady, Patricia and her husband. Patricia went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She provided us with a very nice welcome and assisted us in finding and reserving a wonderful restaurant in the nearby downtown area. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made us feel right at home. The rooms at Rêve de Clarté are beautifully designed and well-equipped. Our double room with a garden view was simply lovely. The décor was tasteful, and we found that we lacked nothing during our stay. The room was impeccably clean and offered all the amenities one could need for a relaxing and stress-free stay. The highlight of our visit was the breakfast the following morning. We woke up to a super quiet and peaceful atmosphere, with the most splendid garden view. The breakfast itself was a feast – a variety of delicious breads and marmalades, perfectly scrambled eggs, freshly pressed orange juice, and brewed coffee. It truly set us up for a great start to the day. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Patricia for making our stay at Rêve de Clarté such a wonderful experience. Her hospitality and the overall ambiance of the property made our time there truly memorable. We highly recommend Rêve de Clarté to anyone looking for a charming and delightful getaway. Spacious rooms had fantastic ambient, with great views of the rolling hills of the countryside. This is a fantastic płace to explore the NE part of the Parc regional naturel d’Armorique. Countryside feel with all modern utilities. And the breskfasts… require a poet to give them due justice.

During my short (10-night) tour of Normandy and Brittany, I stayed at six different hotels, some budget hotels, others more expensive, some good but others less so. It is remarkable that the Logis Hôtel Fontaine, which was the least expensive, was one of the best. Of course it doesn’t compare with hotels charging up to €80+ for dinner – one would hardly expect it to. I started staying here on Tuesday nights a couple of years ago, prior to catching the Wednesday morning sailing from Roscoff to Plymouth, for which an early check-in is required. It is an easy 30-minute drive from the hotel to the port. The hotel is run by a couple, the wife of whom speaks excellent English. My room was of sufficient size for a short stay and had a good workspace, with facilities for making hot drinks. The bathroom was large with good quality fittings and a full-size walk-in shower with two heads – in effect a wet-room that would probably be useful for handicapped guests. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent – a tasty paté, a Brittany sausage and a trio of cheeses, washed down with coffee and cognac. Because of my early departures, I have never sampled breakfast here, but on my next trip, I shall stay for two nights and explore the locality I strongly recommend this hotel

This Chambres d’hote is exceptional. The rooms are large and luxurious with a fantastic bathroom and luxurious beds. The welcome was very warm and we felt truly looked after. We had an evening meal which was delicious: local produce, beautifully cooked. Breakfast was exceptional. This is a jewel of a place with kind and friendly hosts and we will return!

    I chose this place because there should have been two beds /...

    I chose this place because there should have been two beds /two bedrooms but when I arrived I was only told that the first floor is closed so my family only had one bed/one bedroom. I paid for the whole house but I got only half. And nobody told me before I was there. I recommend you to ask the owner in advance so you do not need to be disappointed.

    We liked the proximity to Morlaix, the quietness of the area and the hotel itself. The bar was well stocked, and even though we did not have breakfast, the breakfast did look excellent. The staff were friendly, but perhaps the evening we were there, they were little frazzled!

    This is the best hotel that we have found ,for a night stay prior to Embarking on Brittany Ferries . Very easy to find, very good 3 course menu for 25 euros in the restaurant. Great host's. & immaculate.
