Beautifully relaxing environment, peaceful pool area, attractive surroundings and nicely decorated rooms. We particularly enjoyed the bar service sitting in the shade under the trees, perfect for winding down after a long drive. Amazingly comfortable beds and attentive staff. We liked it so much we booked it again for our return journey.

Excellent place to stop at on the way south. Just off the A10 motorway. Comfortable beds, safe parking, quiet, pet friendly and great food! Staff were also exceptional. Very clean. Better than some 4 star hotels. Would absolutely book this again.

    Futurescope was a big disapointment to all my family. who's ages ranged from 5 to 82 years. The queues were anything up to 2 hours, and what was then particularly galling. V I P visitors were able to jump the queue to lengthen your wait. Some of the rides/shows were good , but one reallity ride we went on was past it's sell by date with the motions harsh and bruising. I wouldn't recommend it and certainly will not be going back.

    Logis Hôtel de l'Europe A wonderful hotel wish we could have stayed more than one night - staff very helpful parking a bonus Room was very spacious and comfortable Breakfast was excellent - choices and quality really good. Recommendation of Oh Le Bistro was spot on- short walk and great food and service. We will certainly stay again . Poitiers is worth a longer visit than we had time for on this occassion

    Poitiers is a medieval small city with a great deal of ancient and medieval monuments extremely important in the French history. It has a University from 1431 and 30,000 students from France and abroad every year. It is quite cheap in comparison with many other French cities which is why I would go there again for a short holiday or break. There are many lovely boutiques with high quality garments, shoes and hats. The square in front of Palais is charming and you can admire Poitiers architecture sitting at the table in Le Petit Alphonse.

    we went to visit the futuroscope & the aquascope, 2 days is just right the first evening we ate at a pizza populaire with very nice staff & the second evening we just stayed at our hotel, Ibis, which has a great restaurant

    Wouldn't ever rush back, over restored, not many old buildings left inside the city walls. This was a stop over hotel, one night. The Cathedral was closed under renovation, the Duke of Aquitaine palace is almost totally hidden, we found one long grand staircase entrance to the ancient hall, but no signage of alternative "disabled/walking impairment" entrances. Yes it was clean and tidy but utterly boring for such an ancient important town, glad to head off to Cognac the next morning

    This hotel is great for an overnight stop 0n route South. Bedrooms are clean as is all other areas of hotel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast, continental but lots of it. Parking is an advantage especially as the hotel is situated in the centre of Poitiers, though advisable to email hotel about parking on booking..This was our third booking at this hotel.
