Loved the 2 distinct characters / medieval upper town, lower town with shopping dining etc - still quite medieval. Easy to walk around but beware - steep walk to upper town. Provins Pass is a good option for seeing points of interest - 17 euros. A perfectly preserved 12th century walled town, much to see and do, an entire underground city (Souterrains), medieval tower/prison, and just walking around - you are transported back in time. We stayed in the Demure des Vieux Bains Inn - so fabulous!! Had wonderful meals in great restaurants, it was the perfect 2 night trip. The mediaeval town of Provins has literally hundreds of fabulous old properties as well as the star sights of the Church, the Tower and the Walls. The room was very clean and comfortable. In my opinion it is good for 1-2 persons who don't have big luggages and don't have problems with a sofabed. The small garden was lovely. Everything in the room worked fine as it should do. You can cook an easy meal. The owners also offered soap and cleaning items in the kitchen. I would stay here again if I go to Provins. It's the first time when we can surely say: we will come back certainly. The flat is located on the first floor in the house with own closed area. There is free parking that's very good if you are travelling by car. The flat is vary cozy and comfortable. Hosts cared about everything: from cold drinks in the fridge and sweets to guides of town and hygiene supplies. Welcome sign was so cute! It is totally in medieval style. The apartment was amazing. It was well equipped and it is on great location. Train station is near the apartment. Paris is one hour away from Provins and there is a direct train. The hospitality of our host was superb. He was always available for us and made our trip much easier with his advices.
