What an exceptionally beautifully designed place. We had arrived somewhere else that we decided wasn’t for us and so at 8.30pm made a quick search in the area and found Le Mayne….30 minutes later we were there. The owners understandably with such short notice weren’t expecting guests, but were so kind and helpful getting us settled and the house was absolutely guest ready! There is absolutely everything you need to hand to live a quintessentially French lifestyle and a very elegant and well considered environment. Our little piece of French paradise, within very easy reach of many wineries, shop, cafe and restaurant…..easy short drive to Saint-Emilión. Perfect. We will be back.

We called the owners on arrival as we were advised. The owners explained how we could access the property. We stayed for over a week and had a great time! The property was managed as a family business and we could have not asked for more. We even received a tour of their winery when we expressed an interest in how wine is made. The property was clean, functional, well equipped and very modern. We only can recommend this Gite. The owners were friendly but they were also respectful of our privacy. And they make good wine, too! :o)

Very clean and well appointed, spacious, modern and well equipped. Parking on site and a good location. Public area well presented and clean. Extremely comfortable bed, best nights sleep I’ve had when I’ve stayed away from home. Air conditioning great and so quiet. Would definitely return if we were in the area again for a longer stay.

The appartement is very comfortable and peaceful, with really nice atmosphere. The owners are are friendly and welcoming. The garden is beautiful and the jacuzzi bath makes it a great place to relax. It’s placed in a lovely little village .

Wonderful quiet location in the vineyards of St. Emilion. The accommodation is spacious and impeccable. Everything was in perfect condition and clean. The breakfast was fantastic - we were served homemade yogurt and cakes every day. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best experiences we've ever had in a BnB.

    Small typical French village.

    Small typical French village. Very close to many places to visit so a good base. Village shop and small restaurant/bar opening hours could have been longer. Chemist and hairdressers. Very quiet location off the beaten track but not far to find more going on if that’s what you’re looking for.

    We stayed at Tifayne for two nights on a road trip down the west coast. From our 2 week trip this was our favourite accommodation. Great for accessing St Emillion (15min), the nearby antiques shop in Puisseguin, other surrounding vineyards (which the hosts can recommend), or just to be lazy by the pool! The 7pm wine tasting was a fabulous way to meet other guests and taste their own delicious wines! Loved our stay!

    This was our fourth stay in this wonderful, small château. The hotel is located at the countryside, and offers a peaceful environment for relaxation. Rooms are charming, yet modern and equipped with air conditioning. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Fabulous hotel. Location beautiful. Rustic and relaxed. Surrounded by chateauxs and vineyards. Wonderful food. Highly recommend. Pool is great for kids. Great value.
