Behind the gates is a little slice of heaven in the courtyard. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and it is so peaceful. Our wonderful host was so welcoming, and it was lovely to see that she offered massage and reflexology..You could see and feel that connection to nature everywhere. So many thoughtful touches in the room and throughout our stay. This is a host who really cares about the guest experience. Her cat is a little beauty 😍 Breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was exquisite. I felt very peaceful here and will definitely return if I'm in the area.

We had a 2,500 km long road trip through Belgium and France. This was the best place we stayed at. It is not just a couple of rooms, it is an experience: we saw and felt the France that we had read about in books. The house is full of French spirit, history and interesting stories. Rose-Anne is a fantastic landlady, she makes this place truly special. Strongly recommended!

It is always a pleasure to stay here. We have stayed here for the 3rd time, this time only one night to break down our travel to the south. There is a river running next to the houses, amazing for children to play and look for frogs and toads.

Booked literally couple of hours before arrival. Only about one km from A28 - perfect! Very friendly staff throughout. The tent/pod was brilliant. Coffee machine, fridge with small freezer, lots of sockets, mirror, hanging space, covered area outside with table, chairs and loungers. We were right next to the lake, so setting was perfect. The bed was really comfy. There is a restaurant on site and we had dinner and breakfast there - both excellent. Swimming pool looked lovely, although we didn't use it the night we stopped. Shower block was nice and clean with plenty of hot water. There is a Super U literally as you turn off the A28 for fuel and any bits you might want. Would definitely use this as a stop over again.
