From the moment we arrived our two hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The house is right in the middle of a beautiful little Breton village, and entry to the house is via an ancient door at the top of a stone stairway which makes it feel like you are stepping into some magical secret walled garden. The room was perfect. Bed very comfortable and en-suite facilities well thought out and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good local food, all fresh and tasty. We loved our stay.

Great place, comfortable, and we'll equipped. Private with sole use of the pool. The host was lovely and helpful. Town was small but had everything you needed, plus more. There are plenty of places to eat. Locals were all very friendly. Supermarkets and places to visit all within a short distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and would love to go back.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay! The facility was one-of-a-kind, with hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The decor was charming, rooms were beautiful, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Breakfast was simply magnificent! We're eagerly looking forward to our next visit to this stunning place. Wonderful place managed by wonderful people! Brigitte kindly waited for us to welcome us after we had a problem with the car and we were terribly delayed. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of fresh options, even without gluten, and served with care. Although we had to continue our trip and we couldn’t stay long, we managed to visit the garden and the animals, a delight for our children. Definitely a place to come back!

    Beautiful village - well worth a visit.

    Beautiful village - well worth a visit. It is very busy in the summer - lots of paying parking - currently 5 euros so not expensive. It's on a hill so expect gradients! Good pizza restaurant - plus several (generally expensive) others.

    Lives up to the 'beautiful town' name.

    Lives up to the 'beautiful town' name. We only stayed one night and it was lovely. The hotel (Tour du Lion) was excellent, we ate at the Restaurant Maison Cachée which was also very good, and wandered down the main street in the evening. The next morning we went up to the 'old village' and through the chateaux grounds. A gorgeous village, highly recommended.

    Everything , one of the best places we have stayed at. 5 minutes walk to the pretty village Rochefort-en-Terre. The owner Patricia was very welcoming and left us a welcome present., crepes and a bottle of cider in the fridge. We would have loved us stay another night but sadly for us it was booked up. But we aim to return! Helena and Russell

    Quiet peaceful location by the lake. The lodge was well maintained and comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking the lake and listening to and watching the birds. It was close to the pathway around the lake and the, mainly footpath pedestrian route to Rochefort-en-Terre

    The location was perfect, in the centre of gorgeous Rochefort-en-Terre but away from the noise of the main streets. We left our car in the 'payant' car park which cost 6,50 Euros for the period from about 13.00 hours on the Monday to 11.30 hours the next day.
