Worst host and room I have ever seen.
Worst host and room I have ever seen. They present everything beautifully, but on the inside it is downright filthy. Hair in the bed from previous visitors, dirty footprints on the stairs, clearly not vacuumed, mold everywhere. No form of ventilation possible, so even if you wanted to stay here, you actually can’t stay here because of your health. When we reported this to the host, we basically got the answer that we should clean it ourselves if we thought we could do it better. He also said that the lack of ventilation would not cause any harm. Additionally, they are not reachable by phone and do not respond to the emails sent via Booking, which also shows no willingness to cooperate in any way. Roubaix has its own charm however it is let down by a small hooligan element who seemed a bit lawless. We tended to stay around our hotel Ibis area and at night kids on motorbikes seemed to just do what they wanted. One of our party got pick pocketted but my friend caught the culprit red handed and actually gave him his wallet back so a decent thief at least 😂.
