The Gîte itself is just so beautiful and rustic, exactly as per the photos and so cosy and warm, the pellet burner was just perfect for this time of year (December). The owners were the friendliest and most helpful people you could ask for. We had travel issues (delays on the Euro Tunnel) and then problems with our car (puncture), which caused us long delays, however, we kept them informed and they were so understanding and very helpful, we could not have asked for more.

It was an unexpected and wonderful 2-day stay in Normandy. The position is convenient for exploring the D-day beaches and Mont St Michel and Saint-Malo on day trips. Debbie and her husband Steve are wonderful hosts: they remodeled an old vicary house in the center of a small village and turned it into a lovely, very cozy, and welcoming home. They thought of the most minute details, adding personal touches everywhere. The rooms on the first floor are spacious and comfortable. The common room for breakfast is exquisite with decor and light. Breakfast is delicious with ample choices. The garden is well taken care of. It was a great find.

    A really lovely place, and truly excellent hosts. The most gorgeous place we have ever stayed in. Perfect in every respect..To be really fussy, for some people perhaps, just a little far away from restaurants. Of course, its isolation, in deep, beautiful countryside is indeed an asset for people like us who love nature.
