We really enjoyed our three night stay at this establishment. It is well located in a quiet area near Roussillion. There is plenty of parking & a lovely swimming pool. Our room was a spacious bungalow, with a large bedroom, bathroom & secluded terrace. We had breakfast & dinner at the hotel & both were excellent value for money. The Hotel Les Ambres is well positioned for easy trips to the very best towns & villages of Provence. The owners are a delight, friendly, helpful & full of good advice for getting the best out of a stay in the area. Hotel Les Ambres is thoroughly recommended.

Philip and his wife are wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and their property is just gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and we slept peacefully and were greeted the next day with an amazing breakfast which was by far the most delicious one we had throughout our entire vacations. We would love to come again.

This is the perfect bed and breakfast to explore the luberon region. The property is beautiful, and quiet. Phillipe was the best host, he is friendly, helpful with ideas. Loved having breakfast each morning in the garden with homemade jam and cake. Definitely recommend staying here.

It was a very nice stay. Dedier and Philip are great hosts, they do everything they can to make you feel at home. The property is beautiful, in the middle of the country side. There is a cute garden where you can have breakfast if the weather is good. The house is from the1900 and still keeps its charm. It felt like an authentic experience to stay with them. I loved the candles at the stairs, it gave a magical atmosphere. The bathroom is outside the room, but it´s very private. The breakfast was lovely and Philip gave us great tips about the region. Thank you for having us!

Location 5 min walk to the centre. Beautiful Tipi in a green environment. The host Eva was very nice and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast provided was execellent. The Tipi was very well decorated and comfortable. It was for us a bit cold during the evening but we had an electric blanket and heather. Separate bathroom and toilet next to the tent was good. Private parking of the car (we were glad with our 4x4 car because of terrain)

    Definitely rent a car from the airport and try and do it straight through your airline. It’s very hard to get a taxi though I believe there is uber. Having a car means you can visit Gordes and other local towns and markets.

    The old property was, we think, a farmhouse.

    The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfasts. Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet.

    Rousillon is a cute little hilltop village - we had a wonderful stroll and dinner and overnight stay at La Maison des Ocres. I would recommend it for an overnight stop but not necessary for a long stop.

    Hands down one of my favorite short term rentals anywhere in the world. Nothing at all to fault, it's the perfect location, has free and easy parking, a communicative and friendly host, is impeccably clean with comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, plus beautiful outdoor space. Roussillon is also the perfect base for a week in the Luberon, with super friendly locals at the restaurants we tried. We were sad to leave and would've stayed even longer if we could.

    Everything! The location was amazing, being so close to the famous red cliffs of Roussillon. Dinner at the restaurant hotel was an experience! We were served by a very informative and professional man. The lovely Lisa at Reception was also very helpful and kind. She deserves a special mention: thank you, Lisa!     Excellent hotel in a great position for exploring the Luberon. Very helpful and friendly staff; clean, well appointed room; good breakfast with a variety of options and a nice pool for a dip at the end of a long day’s sightseeing. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the centre of Roussillon, where there’s a selection of restaurants for evening meals. Highly recommend.
