Ideal location for a beach holiday. With just a 1 minute walk you are at a quite beach with very clear and warm water. However, a short drive away (3-4 miles) in Fregus was a beautiful dog friendly sandy beach which was well maintained (Plage de la Base Nature). Arrived early (13:45) but at check in the receptionist had our room available within 15 minutes. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea but was covered and quite dark in the afternoon. Room was comfortable and clean. TV didn’t have any channels in English, usually when staying in France there is at least one channel available in English. WiFi was quite good speed wise but dropped a few times. Parking was free and secure. We only used the Hotel Restaurant for breakfast which was of course continental in style, pleasant surroundings but quite expensive. There was a number of restaurants on the promenade and surrounding areas and we chose to eat out both evenings, choice and prices were reasonable. The hotel is designed for maximum efficiency. I have never before stayed in such a small room (I'm 85!) and with an attached bathroom that one could hardly turn around in. Everything was very clean and neat....... but the lack of a bit of space bothered me.Guest review byPeterMonaco

The hotel was beautiful, quiet and clean. The gardens and pool were especially lovely. The location is quite isolated and a car is required but we enjoyed the remoteness. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby and the beachside restaurants are a pleasant 20 minute walk away. Saint Aygulf is an excellent base for the Cote d'Azur - a more relaxed vibe and one of the best beaches along the whole coast.Guest review bySGDubNorway
