Jean-Pierre and Foy were excellent hosts providing ideas of places to visit in the area. The Source was a tranquil haven in a beautiful area of France with great facilities to allow us to relax by the pool after a hot day of sightseeing. The interior of the Chateau was spotlessly clean and modern. The hotel manager spoke flawless English and was ready to answer any requests we had, and to arrange dinner reservations for us. Everything in the place was of top quality. We were told that renovations had been done less than a year previously. The manager greeted us personally upon arrival, gave us a tour of the key features of the house and grounds, and a brief history of the place. She then provided complimentary beverages to enjoy, followed by showing us our room and it's features. We were treated like nobility, everything was first class!

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Water didn't work in the allocated room. The receptionist went to great lengths to try to resolve the problem, before it was realised that the issue was village wide and not just the room. Very good breakfast.

    Not a lot going on in Saint Cybranet really but a nice...

    Not a lot going on in Saint Cybranet really but a nice village and great base for exploring middle Dordogne area. Great well marked cycle trails in Ceou valley too and lovely villages as you wonder upstream. Close to all the main tourist venues on Dordogne River too. Countryside is beautiful and the golden coloured chateaus and houses really beautiful. Markets in local towns great. Sarlat lovely. A real taste of France, what's not to like! Combined with the cheese, walnuts, foie gras, fantastic bread and lovely wines... Not to mention a glass of Ricard.... A little piece of heaven.
