We loved the authenticity and good preservation of this place. Everything was much better than in the photos. We also appreciate the books, and the reading room, a lot of interesting books about castles and manors in France. Owner is friendly and passionate about keeping this property in well condition.

Perfect stay with Alexandra and her family, but a completely separate room and kitchen/lounge area. Very comfortable bed, great shower and quiet at night. Alexandra cooked us a delicious evening meal (huge homemade quiche with salad and bread, followed by homemade apple pudding) Also lots of beer/cider/wine available to buy. Lovely breakfast in the morning too. Nothing was too much trouble, a lovely family and cute dog......and chickens! Undercover storage for bikes. We definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Compact kitchen and dining area but very well equipped. Upstairs lounge area and bedroom are very spacious. Nice and clean. Added bonus of small outdoor decking with table and chairs.
