Travelling by trekkingbike from Netherlands to the south of France I arrived after a long day cycling with a lot of rain and wind at this beautiful rustic place in the countryside. What a beaufitul place and garden. The owner and family were very welcoming. Although I hadn't given them notice for some diner they provided me with homemade bread, cheese and cuts. Next morning they served a great breakfast. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay there for a few days.

A perfect stopover, only a few kilometres from the motorway en route from Switzerland to the Dordogne. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were lovely and the restaurant was excellent for dinner. The food was really exceptional and the Service great. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, peaceful and calm, with a lovely walk around the fishing lake.

This is a perfect corner of quietness -yet accessible. I loved the old stone house and the lovely hostess. I wish I could've stayed here for a week! Bed is huge and comfortable, the shower is great, the surroundings are beautiful, the house cat loves caresses, the decoration is beautiful, and the breakfast was all homemade!

Absolutely stunning. Wonderful views. Very warm welcome by lovely host. Lots of activities to entertain- darts, boules, plunge pool, toys and games in sitting room. Seating areas overlooking the valley and up in the barn loft. Delicious dinner prepared by host and terrific breakfast. The whole house had been tastefully and empathically restored and the big, airy bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely beautiful. Will definitely return.
