    It was just too small for the price.

    It was just too small for the price. There was close to no floor space and the window could not be opened and the aircon was running non-stop and made the room unbearably hot. Not nice and the staff was not very service-minded.

    There's lots to explore in Saint-Nazaire.

    There's lots to explore in Saint-Nazaire. I took four tours in one day visiting the Chantier de l'Atlantique (shipyard), Nazi submarine base, French submarine Espadon and Escal'Atlantic cruise ship experience. All excellent. One or two more days would have been welcome. Book early - I missed out on the harbour visit and Airbus. The historic sites are close to the city centre for lunch - facilities on site are limited.

    As we only stayed for one night we did not see much of Saint-Nazaire. The bit we did see was good, a wonderful sea front with restaurants, the beach was looked after very well and raked in the morning.

    The beach and bar area was lovely.

    The beach and bar area was lovely. The shopping precint and cinema is next to the hotel. We went to visit the old U-Boat pens and museum which were very accessible. Our room over looked the pens.You can walk around the old pens and there is rooftop access on top of the pens and fortified lock so you get a panoramic view from both sides of the harbour. The submarine visit in the museum is excellent.

    We enjoyed our stay; the room was fantastic inclusieve the terras. Nathalie, the landlady, is super! Friendly, helpfull, getting our breakfast ready early in the morning. Jam, cheese, fresh bread , coffee,… Highly recommanded and at a 9 min walking distance from the GR34 Thank you Nathalie for being the perfect host 😊

    A nice house with small but convincing designed rooms near the harbour. Géraldine is a charming host who helps to make your stay convenient. If you are traveling by car it is easy to reach the city center. By feets you will walk about 30 minutes to the centre of Saint-Nazaire.

    Placed near the u-boat-base is a plus, you can walk to everything Saint-Nazaire is underrated - you can visit the U-boat-base, an U-boat, a luxusliner for travelling to America and walk around in the footsteps of Tintin!
