Every aspect was a delight, from the location so close to the Loire to the manager who booked us a table for dinner to the super clean comfortable room to the delicious breakfast personally served the next morning. We loved this stay!

Everything worked perfectly and we prolonged our stay as we just loved it and of course had to taste some more wine 😀. There is everything you want to use in the kitchen and the flat worked perfectly for us. We enjoyed having our own flat and to bring our dogs. The view from the flat to Sancerre is lovely.

Beautifully presented flat, excellent location and safe bicycle storage. Marie, the host, is considerate, helpful and a good email communicator. A place to enjoy and a great spot to start the walk up the hill to Sancerre.

Lovely little house in a delightful location. The owner met us there and could not have been more helpful. We loved the area and enjoyed our stay. The house is cosy and has beautiful views. We found the bed rather small as we are used to king sized beds and the sofa was a bit hard, but everything else was great. Kitchen could have more equipment but perfectly adequate for a three night stay. Garden is really great, but not currently enclosed so we had to keep our dogs on leads at all times when we had the French doors open. I believe they plan to fence it properly very soon.

An amazing night in this magnificent castle, perfectly renovated, with an amazing view of the Loire Valley. The castle is in the heart of the Sancerre village, surrounded with the wineyards which makes the place unique. The garden and its terrace, is astonishing and offers a great place for a walk. The staff has been especially welcoming and the 5 course diner at the Table d'Arnaud was an unforgettable experience. The room is very well equiped and very spacious.

    Lovely place to stay.

    Lovely place to stay. With close proximity to Sancerre it is convenient for wine tourism as well as natural scenery. The restaurant Le Bord De Loire was spectacular. Food, service and local wine selection were top notch! Hotel De La Loire is a gem with views and charming, clean rooms.

    the guy on reception was very friendly and super helpful, even reserving us a table at the restaurant across the road. The room was clean and well presented, the bed being very comfortable. The wifi connection was good. Walks in the evening are very pleasant along the river and around the boat yard. Not too far off the motorway, allowing a better stop that the regular chain hotels based alongside the motorways. There is a good bakers within a 2 minute walk, which opens at 07.00 should you wish to buy breakfast and get-on-the-road early.
