This is a lovely, well decorated house with a great spacious layout. It had everything we needed and we were able to spend all day walking in the mountains and come back shower, relax, cook and watch TV. The village of Saint Savin is beautiful and old with a couple of restaurants and the supermarket at Argeles well stocked and open long hours.

the Primerose hotel is a family-run establishment, modest in its appearance but with attention to detail, extremely clean and made special by its owner, Philippe, an extraordinarily friendly and sensitive person who tries in every way to make his guests feel good. My wife and I are two cyclists, and we highly recommend this hotel especially for those who cycle. Spacious, totally safe bike room, where you can hang your bikes without the risk of them scratching against each other. We have always eaten at the hotel, excellent food, set menu, respect for any special needs everyone may have (my wife doesn't eat meat). Philippe was nice enough to understand the character of the various guests and immediately seated us next to other people with whom we then made good friends. The total cost of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to visit the Pyrenees, with a special focus on cycling. From the hotel it is indeed very easy to do the Tourmalet, l'Aubisque, Hautacam, Trumouse, Gavarnie. Thanks again Philippe

The staff is very welcoming and kind. The location is excellent. The room where we stayed was incredibly cozy and offered a fantastic view. The place is only a 5-minute walk away from the famous Bain des Jardins and the bus station that goes to Cauterets. I definitely plan to come again.

    Saint Savin is in the middle between Cirque De Gavarnie and Pont D'Espagne/Lac de Gaube -- two spectacular parks. It's very small and lacks tourist infrastructure. There are larger towns and villages more accessible and affordable than Hotel Les Rochers where I stayed in order to visit these two parks and the holy city of Lourdes.

    The hotel seems to be a former (big) family house, and this was how we feel there, with John and Jane great hosts. As the village is really small, there are not mutch options for dinner, but John prepares dinners some days and for our delight he prepared a deliciuos meal exclusively for us, a must! The breakfast is excelent and delicious. From Saint-Savin you can explore the pass upwards the montains and be back at the relaxing comfort at the end of the day, I would recommend it for the Pyrenées staying.

    Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed our stay and we felt like home due to very good care of the owners. Hotel is very quiet and we also enjoyed the meal -breakfast (also gluten free) and dinner.
