This was just a stopover for us, so we only had half an afternoon, an evening and a morning but this allowed us to see everything we wanted to. It's a lovely town to explore on foot. We particularly enjoyed the medieval town and the old fishing quarter. A lovely place to visit for a short break. the old town and surroundings are worth investigating. Plenty of bars and restaurants. The view is breathtaking with changing light and tide. good for walking and cycling. The tourist train to Le Crotoy is popular and worth doing once. Nice little town with a selection of tourist shops and restaurants. The narrow-guage rail link is a very good and enjoyable trip. Le Cotoy is also worth a visit. This is a very pretty place, right by the river.
This is a very pretty place, right by the river. There are numerous restaurants and some lovely little shops. Many of the streets are very attractive, with wonderful buildings and fauna and flora to admire. There is a long promenade for easy walking and a beach and park at one end, suitable for families. Lovely location, great facilities in tranquil setting. Bar and restaurant good with friendly helpful staff. Pleasant large rooms and comfortable beds. Lots to do, swimming pool, table tennis, tennis, bike hire and walks to the beach. Pleasant well kept gardens and grounds. It’s a disaster if you need WiFi. Almost impossible to log in. Gardens are sadly looking quite neglected which is a shame as they have obviously been quite a feature in the past.
