Room was very spacios and moder, had a welcoming french vibe. The owners were very kind and sociable, always available to attend us. Breakfast was very good, classical french. Parking was also available & free. The beach was very close for a walk.

Beautiful apartment with fully equipped kitchen and a little private garden in the back. Incredibly (!) nice host who was waiting for us upon arrival, took care of a smooth check-in and showed us the the safe private parking space (which is appx. a 5min walk away. A little Carrefour supermarket (open until 11pm) is 2mins away by foot. Plus: excellent location for early morning departures to the UK via tunnel (15mins drive to the terminal). We will be back again for sure!

    Sangatte was very pleasant.

    Sangatte was very pleasant. Due to the fact we visited at the beginning of April it really suited our needs. Huge sandy and well maintained beach, which at times were practically empty. We had two dogs and it was perfect for long walks however I understand that as from April 15th until October dogs are not permitted on the beach which is a great shame. It is a short drive to the local supermarket which was very handy as we were self catering. Sangatte is a short drive from Calais which is a great bonus and within easy reach to get to other well known places of interest.

    Beach and more beach - absolutely beautiful!

    Beach and more beach - absolutely beautiful! But I was very disappointed at the lack of any facilities - impossible to even buy an icecream…. No supermarket, one restaurant (expensive), no cafe’s - nowhere to go,,,,,

    We were only there for one night in March so it is hard to fully rate a property. However, for what we needed- a place to stay so we were well-positioned to go on the Eurotunnel the next day, after having travelled up from the south- it was perfect. It was warm and clean and the kitchen meant we didn't have to think about going out for food but could cook ourselves. Sangatte has a lovely beach so nice to be able to stretch the legs. And, there is an Auchan up the road in Coquelles for last minute shopping. Wifi worked well.

    This property is located, as named, at the edge of the sand dunes on the beautiful Sangatte beach and as a bonus, close to the channel tunnel for our return journey the next morning. There is secure, free on-site parking. The bedroom and shower room were both spacious and clean with ample storage in both. The bed was very comfortable. The owner was friendly and informative. The breakfast was very good with a varied choice. Overall, we would consider staying here for a few nights on our next trip.

    After a long trip from Germany we reach the Hotel at 1 o’clock PM. The reception was closed. I ring the bill: Check in is at 2 PM possible. I answered: can you please open, just to visit the toilet. Answer: 800 meter from here there is a public toilets near the church!!! Unbelievable!!! The whole time we couldn’t use the heater at our apartment. I write a message to the owner: NO RESPONSE!!!

    Love, love, love O' de Caps! A fantastic little maisonette just one road behind the seafront at Sangatte hosted by Cedric. I loved the garden and the total peace and quiet (best night's sleep I have had for ages) and my son loved the basketball hoop. Really good power shower, all you need in the kitchen, good wifi and easy parking too.
