A little gem in the countryside. This bnb is run with love, very welcoming hosts that go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. The restaurant delivers delicious meals by the river. The view, the comfy beds, the hostess and their friendly dog, full boxes of toys upon arrival (legoes and cars for our boys, plus sets of drawing since they learnt ours like to draw❤️). Check in at 16h but they are nice to let us come 2 hours in advance, we end up extending a night cos the kids wouldn’t want to leave anymore. The pictures didn’t do the place justice, you can see the chateau de chouvigny right above the property, the property was actually a dépendance of the castle once. Very nice and calm place to stay.

A great base to visit some of lesser known sights in France. We had some great tips from our hosts who could not do enough to help. Chateau Rocher, Charroux, Le Meandre de Quelle and the amazing Le Puy de Dome to name a few. Definitely worth trying out this Volcanic part of France and staying here

    The location is quite stunning.

    The location is quite stunning. I arranged for Sunday lunch with my family & friends who were staying locally & whom I was visiting. I don't know any other location where the children could fish safely in the river for crayfish in between courses! (We did have all our own fishing stuff)
