Signy-l'Abbaye is the quintessential French village, located in the lovely Ardennes region of France, an area of rolling countryside, close to the Belgian border and the town of Charleville-Mezieres, well worth a visit. The whole area is distinguished by historic monuments, including some fortified churches. We know from previous visits that the Ardennes region where the hotel is located is full of interesting places, including the delightful Charleville -Mezieres and some very pleasing rolling countryside. The room we had was like new with a vaulted ceiling and shuttered windows looking out to the village. The walk in shower was great. The staff & Madame were all lovely. Breakfast was gorgeous.
