It was pretty amazing being in a refurbished castle. The staff were excellent, everyone we met was so kind and the rooms were impeccably cleaned every day. The pool was an absolute bonus, especially on the hot days we had! Right in the heart of Sarlat too so easy to walk everywhere.

We stayed 4 nights. The host Christine is a fabulous lady. Our flight was delayed but she waited for us on the first day until 22.30 to check us in. She helped us in everything we needed and gave us a lot of tips about what, where and when to visit. The location is great both to drive to all directions and to reach the old city of Sarlat. The room was wonderful and very quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. We warmly recommend the hotel for all.

Staff wonderful- responsive, lifted my heavy bag up to the room, hunted and found a taxi, searched thoroughly for something I thot I lost - makes a huge difference in the energy of staying esp when traveling alone and older. Thank you each and all! Also liked the flexibility and convenience, meaning, with a taxi coming could easily self serve a great breakfast.

The facilities were excellent, and the location just right. For us, as a group of motorcyclists, the secure parking, swimming pool and hot tub was the icing on the cake. The best compliment I can give, is that everyone would love to return with their wives and have a proper holiday there !
