Beautiful property and garden, everything that we needed was readily available. We enjoyed our stay, and our daughter loved the swings and trampoline. Great for small families, and the garden had plenty of space for the dogs to run about. Super Friendly host, we will definitely stay again.

Aubigny-sur-Nere is a very attractive and historic town and La Chaumiere is in the middle of it. We loved the building which is old and beautiful and has been wonderfully restored with every comfort. We booked an evening meal for convenience which turned out to be exceptionally good - really fine dining - but for a fraction of the price you pay in the UK for this quality of food and wine. The service was also great - both friendly and efficient.

Great location with pretty parkland & close to the Poney Championships. The room was à good size with comfortable beds & ensuite bathroom. The rooms were clean & modern. We also liked the communal area where we could make coffee & heat up our meal.

    Always a dream to stay in a chateau with a moat, and Chateau de Souesmes was a beautifully romantic stay, with all the charm and none of the false modernisation (yet everything was perfectly comfortable and in excellent working order!) that ruins the character of a place like this. In addition the breakfast was fabulous (and fabulously and graciously served!) Thank you!
