It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over!
It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over! It's a stunning location and quite unique. The evening food and service was amazing and the lovely breakfast overlooking the surroundings on the terrace was unforgettable. All the staff were attentive & hospitable and I would definitely come back here. This castle hotel is what dreams are made of! Come here to live like, and be treated like royalty. It is peaceful, elegant, historic... the perfect getaway. We had an indulgently delicious breakfast and complex gourmet dinner each day at the castle, then drove through the countryside, exploring medieval towns and tiny villages. Castellane was our favorite. The drive itself is breathtaking! Europe's only grand canyon, the Gorges du Verdon, is a sight to behold, and you drive right through it!Guest review byDianeUnited States
