Honestly, I do not undestand the negative reviews towards this hotel. I think the style is rather modern, it has all the comfort, in a nice position in the forest. The spa and heated swimming pools were amazing. Very recommended for a weekend getaway from Paris

This hotel is very modern and the location is perfect to explore Fontainebleau, everything being in easy walking distance, particularly the absolutely amazing chateau. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. On site parking is the icing on the cake!

    The hotel was very nice - the rooms are functional and clean. The heated pool is nice and very popular. The evening buffet was outside which was great but resulted in flies all over it and the chefs were struggling to wave them away and also cook food etc. I really like the Novotel chain as hotels to stop over when driving through France.

    We really appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of our host, Aurélie. She made our stay truly special! We also fell in love with the beautifully renovated home and village of Ury. We were able to rest, relax, visit Fontainebleau and do some hiking and climbing in the forest. We look forward to returning for another visit!

    The location is good for traveling through France if you don't want to go to Paris. Interesting things to see not far from the hotel. Swimming pool, in-room AC and the facilities overall are not bad. Our room was clean and the stuff, at least on reception, was friendly.
