So glad I found this apartment, I stayed a lot longer than planned and visited the east and west coast from here! I was travelling alone initially and felt very safe and comfortable in the apartment and in the lovely town of Valonges! Parking was easy and charging my Electric Car was easy at the local LIDL. Good choice of supermarkets very close also. My partner joined me and we ended up extending our booking as the location was great for day trips and we didn't want to risk moving on to somewhere that might be less comfortable! Internet was reliable for working. Julien was accessible and patient with our questions. Thank you! I would love to return and would definitely stay here again!!

A delightful room; elegant and beautifully presented overlooking a charming garden. The house is extremely quiet, despite being on the main route to/from the town making it an ideal base from which to explore the local area. We were greeted warmly by our hosts who communicated well regarding access to their property.

    Pleasant town with a choice of restaurants. Good base for visiting the Normandy beaches and War memorials. Good for visiting Bayeux for a day and seeing the famous tapestry and the cathedral. Easy access from Route N13

    We liked the apartment and its position in a busy small town...

    We liked the apartment and its position in a busy small town and access routes to places of interest to us We liked the position of it being only 20 minutes from Cherbourg and the east coast. It is a medium size town with plenty of history and old buildings to discover. There is a good range of small shops and several supermarkets are on the fringes. No problem parking and all free in every town and village barring the big towns and cities.

    The setting of this French Manor house was sublime, tucked away down a lane about 2 miles out of Valognes.Surtounded by mature gardens and a lake, where Agapanthus and Echium thrive, we could walk all around the property. Arnaud the owner is happy to explain the history of the house. Bedrooms are beautifully designed, There is an honesty bar, and breakfast is excellent. A perfect one night stop for ferry at Cherbourg, but really guests should stay longer to appreciate the peace there.
